Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapy

Do I need a referral?

No. You may contact CRCC and request an initial evaluation. A parent’s concern is enough to assess the situation, although it may not mean ongoing therapy services will be warranted.

How do we get started?

Contact CRCC at (402) 895-4000 and ask to speak with the Director of Behavioral Health to make a request for outpatient therapy services. You will need to provide your contact information, insurance information and general reasons for referral. A therapist will be assigned to your case and will call you to schedule a session to get to know your family and determine if services are appropriate.

What types of services does CRCC offer?

CRCC provides individual, family and group therapy services. Therapists use an array of approaches and proven practices which include play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, parent-child interactive therapy, child and family traumatic stress intervention, art therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and behavior modification.

What is my expense?

Out-of-pocket expense varies by insurance company and plan. While some insurances may completely cover services, others may require a copay. CRCC is in-network with most insurance companies including Medicaid, Magellan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry and TRICARE.

Will the therapist tell me what my child says in therapy?

Parents should be assured that all safety concerns will be shared promptly so both therapist and parent can work together to protect the child. While safety concerns will always be shared immediately, not all other session information will be reviewed. Some information is simply irrelevant, other information is not ready to be shared and sometimes children just need a place to speak freely and process.
